What is Revolax?
Revolax is a Cross-linked Hyaluronic Acid or HA Filler.
HA retains water and adds volume. When used at the appropriate site and tissue layer, it can fill folds and hollow areas or add facial dimension.
Revolax is a Monophasic gel filler with a homogeneous gel structure, available in several viscosity levels to suit different treatments.
Revolax has 3 main variants: Fine, Deep, and Sub-Q, ranging from soft gels for delicate work to gels with greater shape retention for facial contouring.
The variants containing Lidocaine provide 1.1 ml per syringe, with 0.3% Lidocaine mixed into the product.
Which Revolax variants are available?
Revolax Fine

The softest and lightest of the 3 variants, suitable for delicate work that does not require a very firm filler.
Suitable areas include:
- Fine lines
- Small facial lines
- Areas around the eyes, as assessed by the doctor
- Neck lines
- Lips when softness is desired
- Areas requiring filling that blends with the tissue
The product is designed for injection into relatively superficial skin layers.
Lasts approximately 8–12 months
Revolax Deep

A medium-textured gel with greater viscosity and shape retention than Fine, while remaining flexible enough for areas that move.
Suitable treatments include:
- Nasolabial folds
- Marionette lines
- Lips
- Forehead
- Anterior cheeks
- Chin
- Moderate volume enhancement
It can be used from the Mid/Deep Dermis to the Subcutaneous layer, depending on the area being filled.
Lasts approximately 12–18 months
Revolax Sub-Q

The firmest and most viscous of the 3 variants, suitable for areas requiring greater shape retention and support.
Often chosen for facial contouring, such as:
- Chin
- Jawline
- Anterior cheeks
- Hollow cheeks at an appropriate tissue layer
- Nose
- Deep folds
- Areas requiring increased Projection or Contour
Sub-Q is designed for deep injection, making it more suitable than Fine and Deep for creating dimension and supporting facial structure.
Lasts approximately 12–18 months
How do Fine / Deep / Sub-Q differ?
To put it simply:
Fine
The softest gel, suitable for delicate work, fine lines, and areas that do not require a firm gel.
Deep
A medium-textured gel with fairly versatile uses, including filling folds, lip enhancement, and adding volume.
Sub-Q
A firmer gel with greater shape retention, suitable for facial contouring such as the chin, anterior cheeks, and jawline.
This does not mean Sub-Q is better than the other variants; the variant must suit the injection area.
How long does Revolax last?
The approximate duration of each variant is:
The actual duration may be shorter or longer for each person, depending on:
- Variant used
- Injection site
- Injection layer
- Amount used
- Movement in the area
- Individual metabolism
Frequently moving areas such as the lips may break down filler faster than areas treated with a firm filler in deeper layers for facial contouring.
Does Revolax contain Lidocaine?
Revolax With Lidocaine contains 0.3% Lidocaine in the product to help reduce pain during injection.
If you have a history of allergy to Lidocaine or anesthetics, inform the doctor before treatment.
How many cc are in 1 box of Revolax?
The With Lidocaine variants contain 1.1 ml, or approximately 1.1 cc, per syringe.
This is slightly more than some filler brands that contain 1.0 ml per syringe.
Where can Revolax be used?
This depends on the selected variant and intended injection layer, for example:
- Under-eyes in suitable candidates for filler
- Forehead
- Temples
- Lips
- Nasolabial folds
- Marionette lines
- Hollow cheeks
- Anterior cheeks
- Chin
- Jawline
- Nose
- Areas with volume loss
Each area needs a different filler texture. Highly mobile areas may require softness and flexibility, while facial contouring requires greater shape retention.
Can Revolax be used in the lips?
Yes.
Both Fine and Deep may be selected for the lips according to the type of treatment.
A softer gel may be chosen for softness, detailed refinement, or adding volume without excessive firmness.
For more pronounced volume or shape, the doctor may choose Deep according to the original lip shape and desired result.
Can Revolax be used in the chin?
Yes.
Chin treatment often requires a filler that retains its shape and creates Projection, so Deep or Sub-Q is often selected according to chin structure and the extent of correction desired.
When a clear increase in length or change in chin angle is needed, a gel with greater support is more suitable than a very soft gel.
Can Revolax be used under the eyes?
Revolax Fine is the softer variant, with usage information for areas requiring a fine filler texture.
However, under-eye treatment involves more than choosing a brand. Assessment must include:
- Tear troughs
- Eye bags
- Skin thinness
- Fluid retention
- Under-eye bone structure
Some people have dark under-eyes due to pigmentation or blood vessels, which filler does not directly address.
How many cc of Revolax are needed?
There is no fixed amount.
A localized treatment may use approximately 1 syringe, while treating several areas or a larger volume deficit may require more.
The doctor considers:
- Area to be filled
- Original facial shape
- Volume deficit
- Symmetry
- Selected variant
- Desired result
The aim is not to use the most filler, but to use an amount that suits facial proportions.
Can Revolax be dissolved?
Yes.
Revolax is a Hyaluronic Acid filler, so Hyaluronidase can help dissolve it if necessary.
Before dissolution, the doctor should always examine the location and assess the amount of filler.
How long does Revolax take to settle after injection?
Changes in volume and shape can be seen immediately after injection, but early swelling from the needle and filler may also be present.
Generally, wait approximately 1–2 weeks for swelling to decrease before reassessing the shape.
The lips may show more noticeable early swelling than other areas.
Does Revolax cause swelling after injection?
After treatment, there may be:
- Swelling
- Redness
- Needle marks
- Bruising
- Mild pain or tightness
Symptoms usually gradually subside.
However, if there is progressively worsening severe pain, pale skin, abnormal skin color, or vision problems, contact the doctor immediately.
How can you identify genuine Revolax?
Before injection, you should be able to inspect the actual product being used.
Items to check include:
- REVOLAX name
- Fine / Deep / Sub-Q variant
- With Lidocaine designation if it contains anesthetic
- 1.1 ml volume
- Lot number
- Expiry date
- ACROSS manufacturer information
- Thai label and importer details
- Matching information on the box and syringe
- Intact packaging
Revolax packaging details may differ between countries, so focus on the product imported for use in Thailand.
Inspect the product before injection at The Ality
Before treatment, you can inspect the box, variant, Lot number, and actual product being used.
The box is opened for you to see before use, the product can be checked, and it is never secretly switched.
When choosing filler, the number of cc is not the only consideration. You also need to know the variant and whether its texture suits the area being filled.
