What is Neuramis?
Neuramis is a Hyaluronic Acid, or HA, filler from Medytox, South Korea.
HA retains water and adds volume. When injected into an appropriate location, it can fill sunken areas and folds and adjust facial proportions.
The gel is Cross-linked Hyaluronic Acid. Formulations with Lidocaine contain a local anaesthetic within the gel to help reduce discomfort during injection.
Formulations used in Thailand include Neuramis Deep Lidocaine and Neuramis Volume Lidocaine. Their gel properties and shape retention differ, so the choice depends on the area and desired result.
Which Neuramis formulations are available?
Neuramis Deep Lidocaine

This formulation has a gel firmness suitable for both filling folds and facial contouring.
It suits areas where the filler needs to add fullness while blending with tissue, such as:
- Nasolabial folds
- Marionette lines
- Chin
- Lips
- Areas needing fold correction or added volume
Neuramis Deep has been studied directly in nasolabial folds, with correction still visible at 24 weeks, or approximately 6 months, after injection.
In practice, duration is often around 6–12 months, depending on the area, amount and movement in that area.
Neuramis Volume Lidocaine

This formulation focuses on restoring volume and refining facial Contour.
The gel retains its shape more than Deep, making it suitable for adding definition or supporting facial structure in areas such as:
- Anterior cheeks
- Hollow cheeks
- Chin
- Jawline
- Areas with volume loss
A long-term study of Neuramis Volume for Mid-face augmentation found that many participants still showed changes at 104 weeks, or approximately 2 years.
This does not mean it lasts 2 years for everyone. Volume is generally estimated at around 12–18 months, and may last longer or shorter depending on the area and individual body response.
How do Deep and Volume differ?
Both are Neuramis HA Filler formulations, but they are selected for different uses.
Neuramis Deep
Its elastic texture suits folds, shaping and areas that need to blend with facial movement.
Neuramis Volume
Focuses on volume and shape retention, suiting areas that need greater definition or volume in deeper layers.
Volume is not inherently better than Deep; the formulation should match the area being filled.
How long does Neuramis last?
As a simple general guide:
These figures are not guaranteed durations; filler can last for a shorter or longer time.
Factors include:
- Variant used
- Injection site
- Injection layer
- Amount used
- Movement in the area
- Individual metabolism
Frequently moving areas, such as the lips, often break down filler faster than areas treated for volume or structural support in deeper layers.
Does Neuramis Volume last longer than Deep?
Volume is generally designed to restore volume in deeper layers, so it often retains its shape longer than Deep.
A Neuramis Volume study in the Mid-face followed participants for 2 years and still found volume augmentation in many of them.
However, “definitely lasts 2 years” should not be promised, because injection areas, amounts and individual responses differ.
Where can Neuramis be used?
The doctor may select a formulation for areas such as:
- Chin
- Anterior cheeks
- Hollow cheeks
- Nasolabial folds
- Marionette lines
- Lips
- Jawline
- Areas with volume loss
Not every area suits the same formulation, because the required softness and shape retention vary.
Who may Neuramis suit?
It may suit people who:
- Have facial folds that are becoming noticeable
- Have sunken facial areas or volume loss
- Want to refine the chin or facial proportions
- Want to add midface volume
- Want to fill nasolabial folds
- Want an HA Filler that can be dissolved if necessary
- Want a filler texture suited to the injection area
Are Neuramis results visible immediately?
Filler treatment produces a visible change in volume immediately after injection.
Early swelling from the needle and injection may also be present, so the immediate post-treatment shape should not be considered the final result.
Generally, wait for swelling to subside before assessing the shape again.
How long does it take to settle after injection?
Generally, wait approximately 1–2 weeks.
There may be mild swelling, tightness or bruising at first. As these settle, the filler shape becomes clearer.
Some areas, such as the lips, may swell more than others initially.
Can Neuramis be dissolved?
Yes.
As a Hyaluronic Acid Filler, Neuramis can be dissolved with Hyaluronidase if a doctor considers it necessary.
A doctor should first examine where the filler is located and assess how much needs to be dissolved.
Can swelling occur after Neuramis?
After treatment, there may be:
- Swelling
- Redness
- Needle marks
- Bruising
- Pain or tightness at injection sites
These generally gradually decrease.
If you experience progressively worsening severe pain, pale or abnormally discoloured skin, or vision-related symptoms, contact the clinic or seek medical attention immediately.
How can I check that Neuramis is genuine?
Before injection, you should be able to inspect the actual product being used.
Check:
- The Neuramis name
- Deep or Volume formulation
- Intact box and syringe
- Lot number
- Expiry date
- Medytox manufacturer information
- Matching product information on the box and syringe
Packaging details may vary by country of sale. Focus on the product imported and registered for Thailand.
Inspect the product before injection at The Ality
Before treatment, you can inspect the actual product, including the box, formulation, Lot number and product information.
The box is opened for you to see before use, the product can be checked, and it is never secretly switched.
Fillers differ in more than price: each formulation has its own texture and suitable uses.
